As I was on the Attorney General’s website looking for a form to fill out about how to file a formal grievance concerning jail standards, I saw this press release and thought to myself, I wonder how much Federal funding they are getting for this Cannabis Task Force from the BJA? How much does the county make off of these Task Forces? I recently learned that one county alone brings in 4.9 Million in court costs, fees, fines and seizures in 1 single year, and the court does not even meet every day. This same county’s Sheriff creates fraudulent documents (NOT SIGNED BY A Judge – Judges name is not even stated in print), not even a dated seal from the clerks office, with a scribble of circles for a forgery, and goes into a neighboring county and steals a man’s property and now refuses to return to the victim of the theft. I have the copy of this “very poor excuse for a warrant.”
Lawless jurisdictions using the color of law are dangerous to the tax payers and to students at the local University. No one is safe from Lawlessness. The Attorney General of Oklahoma should create a Constitutional Task Force to uphold the rule of law in his lawless county courtrooms and unethical jails. This state has the WORST jail standards and they want to go and throw more people in them.
Oklahoma residents should be very concerned with the “state” of their government workers, otherwise known as “officers of the court,” and this Attorney General is how they have any authority ever, he is the main Officer of the Court and it is his job to bring those without regard for the law, wearing a seal of the state on their chest, into compliance with any statute created at his disposal. Otherwise, why are we forced to comply with laws when you, yourselves, are not required to follow those same laws. That sounds a lot like the great tempter to me.
Woe Ye…. But don’t grow God’s gift to mankind. How dare you.
OKLAHOMA CITY (Sept. 20, 2023) – Attorney General Gentner Drummond has created an Organized Crime Task Force to combat the scourge of illegal marijuana grow operations across Oklahoma and added a resource for citizens to report suspicious activity related to unlicensed operations.
“Illegal marijuana grows are responsible for an alarming influx of organized crime into our communities, particularly from Mexican drug cartels and Chinese crime syndicates” Drummond noted. “I have made it a priority to wipe out these illicit operators and this task force is a crucial component to driving out criminals and ensuring public safety.”
The task force is working closely with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control (OBN), the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority and other state agencies to investigate all crimes related to illegal grow operations, including human trafficking and the distribution of deadly drugs such as fentanyl.
Citizens with information about suspected illegal grow operations are encouraged to submit a tip to the Office of the Oklahoma Attorney General. A complaint form is available at oag.ok.gov by clicking on the “Illegal Marijuana Tipline” tab (https://www.oag.ok.gov/illegal-marijuana-growbusiness-complaint-form). Tips also can be sent to illegalgrow@oag.ok.gov and reporters can remain anonymous.
House Bill 2095, signed into law in May, gives the Organized Crime Task Force, in conjunction with OBN and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, full enforcement authority over medical marijuana laws. Authored by Rep. Jon Echols and Sen. Lonnie Paxton, the measure allows the Office of the Attorney General to subpoena business documents, conduct unannounced on-site inspections, seize and destroy illegal products and enter into agreements with other state agencies to combat illegal operations.
