Has OMMA Made False Claims Against License Holders Using Local News and District Attorneys to Retaliate?

Has OMMA Made False Claims Against License Holders Using Local News and District Attorneys to Retaliate?

Would you believe that OMMA wanted to participate in federal funding from the Department of Justice using the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program, and needed to find a grow operation in Oklahoma using “Human Trafficking” or “exporting across state lines” terminology to get it?

  • Why would Immigration and Customs Enforcement be involved if these terms were NOT used to get a search warrant on a licensed grow operation?
  • Why has this case shown zero evidence to prove the probable cause warrant to begin with?

All it would take is to get other agencies to “aid” in slandering one of their largest license holders in Oklahoma,  together in cooperating in a conspiracy to commit fraud, they manufactured charges on one of the states largest grow operations in 2021, and plastered it all over the news that these license holders were using human trafficking and were exporting “material” out of the country. Charges that would later be dismissed as groundless, the news also stated that these were illegal operations with no license, allegations with no proof nor probable cause, as this particular “raid” was on a licensed cannabis grow operation, with the license issuance in their mailbox during the raid.

What the news said 3 days after the “raid” changed in writing but not the video aired on June 17th, 2021.

The words of Human Trafficking and out of state export matter when applying for federal funding. If cases can show how this money is spent stopping these things, the federal teets open wider for more tax cow milk.

  • Why did the story change after the airing of this video?
  • No Proof, NO EVIDENCE of illegal activity yet the state kept going after the individuals involved in the June 14, 2021 raid, even the consultant who helped the land owners and license holders obtain their legal route to grow that much cannabis.

The Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program is the leading source of federal justice funding to state and local jurisdictions. The JAG Program provides states, tribes, and local governments with critical funding necessary to support a range of program areas including:

  • law enforcement,
  • prosecution,
  • indigent defense,
  • courts,
  • crime prevention and education,
  • corrections and community corrections,
  • drug treatment and enforcement,
  • planning,
  • evaluation,
  • technology improvement,
  • crime victim and
  • witness initiatives,
  • mental health programs and
  • related law enforcement and
  • corrections programs, including
  • behavioral programs and
  • crisis intervention teams, and
  • implementation of state crisis intervention court proceedings and
  • related programs or initiatives including, but not limited to,
  • mental health courts,
  • drug courts,
  • veterans courts, and
  • extreme risk protection order programs.

Broad range of things to get funding for, Oklahoma got quite a bit of JAG BJA funding. Where did that funding go? Personal Investigations of license holders in order to go on a fishing expedition to find some form of crime in order to justify their failed raid. A failed raid that was initiated on a false tip to their “Crime Hotline” would add injury to insult.

Here are some images Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics submitted to local news outlets to prove their claims and justify their federal funding to stop Human Trafficking. $3.9 Million dollars of federal funding to a state now experiencing an influx of Californian Investors, Texas oil money, and out of state interests, so human trafficking has to be involved right?

First thoughts would be that this was a Chinese owned operation for most locals, but instead because it involved Mexican Nationals (working in Oklahoma legally), this licensed operation in turn had to be human trafficking. That fits the narrative that all Mexicans are illegal, but not Chinese Nationals here on “work visas” coming down from Canada by way of California.

Making false allegations publicly on the news is fraud, especially when it is against license holders where no evidence was found and no proof to show cause was produced in the application that the Muskogee County Assistant District Attorney Sean Waters signed for OMMA, OBN, ICE, local sheriffs and other state and local agencies used to raid the licensed farm on June 14, 2021.

What other frauds have taken place across the state in order to defame top producers in the fledgling market that Oklahoma brought to the table in the form of unreasonable regulatory framework?

Defamation of Character against licensed operations should not be tolerated by regulatory agencies in any state of the United States of America. Since Oklahoma has the second lowest rated school system in the US behind New Mexico, the local courts are counting on the fact that reading might be difficult for the average jury member when cases like these come to trial dates.
(Original story did not have a link and stated Oklahoma was last in the US for education. Author remedied the error without foreign aid.)

August 11, 2023 is the next trial date for the last individual left with charges in this indictment. Will you tolerate such prejudice against license consultants?
